Explorer Camp

Location: Howland Hill Outdoor School
This year’s camp will take place at Howland Hill Outdoor School, located just outside Crescent City. We expect to be back at our usual Wolf Creek home in 2027. Girls will sleep in cabins on sleeping platforms, meals will be served outside in the dining shelter. There are flush toilets but no showers.
This five-day and four-night camp is for both the experienced scout and the first time camper alike. Girls are encouraged to explore their environment and their abilities.
Programs will include short hikes, pioneering, fire building, rock wall, archery, campfire, skits, STEM and much more.
Divided into patrols of 5-7 girls, campers will learn how to work together. They will learn about women explorers, who are largely overlooked by history, but which serve as inspiring role models. Campers will experience the outdoors like never before through fun educational activities. Let your Girl Scout discover all that they can do at Explorer Camp this July.
