This five-day and four-night camp is for both the experienced scout and the first time camper alike. Campers are encouraged to explore their environment and their abilities. Accommodations are in cabins equipped with bunks. All food is prepared and served in the main lodge. Flush toilets and hot showers are available in the toilet block.
Campers will experience the outdoors through fun educational activities. Divided into patrols of 5-7 girls, campers will learn work together while exploring their environment.
Activities such as Archery, Monkey Bridge, Climbing and Exploring hikes allow campers to develop big motor skills. We will look at the many women explorers, who are largely overlooked by history, but which serve as inspiring role models. STEM activities will focus on mechanical engineering as campers learn about levers, gears, pulleys and what an engineer does.
The day ends with a traditional campfire where we have fun as girls present their skits and CIT’s lead the camp in songs.
Registration opens 12/1/2025
