SUMMARY:International Festival
DESCRIPTION:Area wide (Humboldt & Del Norte Troops) International Festival. In recognition of the worldwide sisterhood of Girl Scouts and Girl Guides we will be holding our Festival just 10 days before Thinking Day. \nEach troop will pick a country to showcase. Booths will include information an activity and a representative food or drink. Troops can begin booth set up at Noon. A troop guide to the festival can be download by clicking the more information button below. \nWe will open the festival with a parade of International families . As scouts arrive they will receive a passport which they can get stamped as they tour the countries. Performances are encouraged. \n

DESCRIPTION:Open to Juniors & Cadette Girl Scouts\nCal Poly Humboldt’s Society of Women Engineers is excited to present a special workshop for Junior and Cadette Girl Scouts intended to help them understand the work of engineers and how that work influences\nour daily lives. Girls will earn a SWE Engineering Day patch and work in small groups to complete some  elements of the “Think Like An Engineer” Badge.
