DESCRIPTION:You will learn the skills to respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies in Adults\, Children\, and Infants along with skills to care for common first aid emergencies including sudden illnesses\, burns\, cuts\, and more. The use of automated external defibrillators (AED’s) is covered in this training course. \nAfter successful completion of this course participants will receive American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED and  First Aid certification valid for 2 years. \n

DESCRIPTION: \nDUE TO AN UNEXPECTED TIMING CONFLICT THIS COURSE IS BEING RESCHEDULED. \nTHE NEW DATE HAS YET TO BE DETERMINED\n  \nThis course prepares you with the skills necessary to respond to emergencies in situations when professional help may be delayed or unavailable. It is required when leading Girl Scout activities  when any part of the activity is located 30 minutes or more from emergency medical services. \n  \nParticipants who successful demonstrate required skills will be awarded an American Red Cross certificate in Wilderness and Remote First Aid valid for a period of two years. \nSaturday March 28  & Sunday 29   8:30am – 5:30pm. \nYou must hold a current CPR certificate and attend both days.\n \n        \n    \n
