How does Financial Aid Work?
Any camper who lives within Girl Scouts of Northern California’s jurisdiction, regardless of whether they are or are not a registered Girl Scout, is eligible to apply for financial help to attend Girl Scout camp. Campers who live outside of this Council must contact their local Girl Scout Council for financial aid information. Financial aid decisions are not made until camp placement has been confirmed. Families may request financial assistance for only one session of resident camp.
If you require financial aid, please indicate so on the online registration form and supply the requested information. As soon as we know if your request has been approved we will notify you. If for any reason you we can grant you the requested aid and you chose not to send your camper to camp we will return any deposit paid.
Can I pay with Cookie/Fall Product Credits?
Yes, the entire amount of due, including the initial deposit, can be paid with cookie/fall product credit. Please see supply the requested information in the payments section.
I am on the waiting list. What are my chances?
Actually, not bad. There are several reasons why additional spaces may become available. Some spaces have been reserved for the daughters of volunteers. These spaces may not all be taken. Inevitably someone may have to drop out and there is a possibility of more spaces becoming available.
What is the Health History & Health Exam Form?
In the interest of ensuring the well being of all campers, your daughter is required to submit a health history and a copy of a recent health exam. If your camper has a written health exam which will be less than two years old by the start of camp, you may submit that exam. Otherwise you will need to schedule a health exam with your daughter’s health care provider.
