International Festival

Our Traditional International Festival to celebrate the world wide Girl Scouting and Girl Guiding movement. Our International Festival also recognizes February 22 which is Thinking Day, a day in which we recognize and think about our sisters overseas. We will have country booths run by troops, scouts will travel from booth to booth and get their passports stamped. There will samples of international food and drinks, crafts and games.
The festival will open with a parade of flags. Troops have the opportunity to present a performance based on the country they choose to represent and finally we will have information on each of the five World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) world centers.
